Helmut Lang has launched a new line of basics entitled HELMUT (yes all caps). I love Helmut Lang and I’m not really sure where this new capsule collection fits in. The price point and design aesthetic seems to be fairly similar to the parent line. It may be even more “Basic” if possible and I do love it, including this soft-looking silk and alpaca sweater for fall. Retails for $220 so the price point may be slightly lower. I’m sure it will still continue to do well just not sure it is so distinct from Helmut Lang’s usual collection.
