Christian Dior had a great show this season. Beautiful draping and lines gave the collection a very vintage, feminine feel.I loved the asymmetrical hems with volume, the ruffled velvet and the cute black and white knit set with a bit of peplum decoration on the skirt. Also loved the grey dress with the chiffon underlayer to downplay the thigh high slit on the piece. Overall a feminine, elegant collection with pieces I would very much like to own and wear.

What is cute about this Alexander Wang sweater is the green color blocks on the sleeves. Very nice touch and the top is not too pricey at $190.

Olivia Palermo still looks polished in a white dress that she’s paired nicely with a bright orange cardigan and green lace up pumps.
Love the way the white dress looks more dressy this way, especially with the bold statement necklace and gold cuff. I like this ASOS asymmetrical hem version that you can purchase for only $40.

Sarah Burton was pregnant while designing this latest RTW collection for Alexander McQueen. The collection was short, concise but ornate and very cohesive. Everything came in pairs (think communion, nuns, cardinals, popes and angels). Not sure how wearable it is but it is reminiscent of McQueen’s own fantastical efforts when it came to his fashion shows.

I may not have described this bracelet like a fettucine noodle but I can see the resemblance. I like this Ippolita bangle because it has a rougher finish and a curve to it. Get it for $395.

Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams have both added a bit of fancy and fantasy to their dress selections for one of the many global Oz premieres (this one was in London). I like the fun of the ruffles for Mila’s Alexander McQueen and the feathered look and gorgeous colour of Michelle’s Burberry dress. Below is a similar ruffled dress from Alice+Olivia and a sequined dress in a similar colour. Definitely only echoes of the originals.
