Lots of dark colours and asymmetrical dresses at Fall’s Lanvin show. The accessories had strong and bold and chunky statement necklaces that looked to be made out of metal and wood hardware. The looks were clean and solid coloured but the accessories had feathers and rivets that stood out yet complemented the outfits.

This colourful dress from Roberto Cavalli is just so pretty. Especially when you zoom in on the print detail. Too bad it retails for $2310. Can anyone find it for less?

Other than the super special stunner from Zoe Saldana below – some of my favourites for the night are right here: Sandra Bullock in Marchesa. The beauty of this dress was when she was on camera in the Kodak Theatre and you could see the way the fabric was shimmering. It was made out of vintage beading (apparently quite heavy) and looked just amazing. To complement her is another fave of the night – Ms. Cameron Diaz. Also aglow in a sparkling piece from Oscar de la Renta – way to go with gold ladies.
This dress is simply stunning. If you’re going to come to the Oscars – be ready to impress! Zoe Saldana supporting the movie Avatar certainly did that with this ruffled creation from Givenchy Couture. It looks like she’s floating on a cloud.
For the duo known for their theatrical shows – this one was no different. It was all black and lots of fur and the key – giant coats! Seriously unwearable but also very memorable – here they are:
