Alert: H&M’s newest collaboration is with Lanvin
Lanvin is the newest designer collaboration partner for affordable on-trend fashion retailer H&M. Much like previous collections, I am sure lineups will be huge and sellouts will be quick (with a large secondary market for limited quantity purchases). The collection will go on sale November 20, 2010 in North America and 3 days later for the rest of the world. Alber Elbaz, head designer of Lanvin, has been quoted as saying about this collection “H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public.” A preview of the collection will be available on hm.com on November 1.

Just tried on this gorgeous Tatum boot from Michael by Michael Kors. Super cute for Fall and it will go great with leggings or skinny jeans. I love the strappiness and the gold accents on brown. Also comes in a black colour that looks nice as well. Retails for $225.

An Interesting Find: Miu Miu’s Bell-Flared Wool Pants

So the 60′s are back? Even when I saw these flared pants on MiuMiu’s Fall 2010 runway I wasn’t so sure, and I’m still not. Very cute on models – yes especially with scalloped little dresses (as seen here). However, on their own? I just don’t know – they kinda remind me of horse hoofs. Retail price? $880. I do like some of the dresses/tunics I saw though and I will post those later.
